I am an attorney with over 30 years of experience as a litigator and general counsel for a construction company focusing her practice on the mediation and arbitration of construction, commercial, industrial, consumer and personal injury disputes.

I headed up the Construction/Real Estate Litigation Team at a large national law firm concentrating my practice on commercial litigation and personal injury litigation involving construction, construction defects, product liability, work place injuries and safety, and motor vehicle accidents. I have tried or arbitrated cases varying in size from the very small to complex in Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, and other states, as well as in the federal courts.  I assisted clients in the development of large construction projects from planning through completion and disputes resolution on both public and private projects in industrial and commercial construction, tunneling and various subcontractor specialties. I was also part of the national counsel team for a Fortune 300 product manufacturer in its motor vehicle accident and premises liability litigation. I had the opportunity to litigate personal injury cases involving serious injuries and multiple surgeries in state and federal courts throughout the country.

I now focus my practice in the Alternative Dispute Resolution realm. I enjoy assisting litigants and parties in resolving their disputes in the commercial, residential and consumer arenas. 

 

I am a member of the Panel of Construction, Consumer and Commercial Panels the American Arbitration Association; a National Arbitration and Mediation, Arbitrator and Mediator; and an Arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.  

I attended Marshall University and earned a Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. I am admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, the United States Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Districts Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the United States Districts Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the Untied States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
